A Very Busy Labor Day Weekend
1. Hamilton: last Friday I FINALLY got to see this musical after years of wanting to go! The show came to the Kennedy Center this summer and my friend managed to snag tickets through the online system. Our seats were in the first row of the upper mezzanine, which turned out to be a great spot. I’ve listened to the soundtrack a million times but it just does not compare to seeing the show live. I don’t often feel at ease sitting in the middle of a row in a room filled with people. But at times during Hamilton I felt like I was the only person in the room (where it happens). It was pretty magical and I’d love to see the show again.
