I could not believe it when my Tarte custom makeup bag arrived on Saturday. I placed my order on Thursday, and it felt like they shot my order out of a cannon directly at my building! Wouldn’t it be amazing if someone made a beauty product gun, like one of those t-shirt guns at sporting events? That’s the kind of gun I could get behind.
1. May Bullet Journal Spread: I can’t believe it’s May already…that means that I turn 40 next month. WHAT?! Anyway, I tried drawing some crystals freehand on my May monthly spread and they turned out…okay. Not too terrible for my first crystal-drawing effort, though!

Happy May, everyone! In March I wasn’t sure if I would end up with enough empties to warrant writing a post about them (I did). This time around, though, I have approximately one shit ton of empties to write about!

I’ve been meaning to write this post for months but am just now getting around to it! You may recall that I bought a ColourPop Blotted Lip in my first (and so far, only) ColourPop haul. I also bought a Glossier Generation G lipstick last year, and seeing as how both lipstick lines are meant to give a blotted look, I thought I would compare the two products here.
1. Wild Wild Country: this new Netflix documentary series is INSANE. Without going into too much detail, it’s about a cult that took over a small town in Oregon in the 1980s. I’m not a huge cult follower (pun intended), but I’d like to believe I’ve heard of most major modern-day cults. Somehow, though, I only heard about about the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and his monochromatically-clad followers for the first time recently, on a My Favorite Murder episode. Once I realized this documentary existed I blew through it and…wow. What a crazy story. I highly recommend watching Wild Wild Country!
The Sephora Spring Bonus has ended and as of yesterday I’ve received everything I ordered. Because I have Sephora Rouge status I was able to take 15% off for two weekends in a row. SUCH TEMPTATION! I exercised restraint, though, and only placed one order during each bonus period. 🙂
