Recently, I was texting with a friend and she asked me if I was getting the Sephora Play! Luxe Vol. 5 bag. I wasn’t even aware this bag of luxe minis existed, but I decided to get one! These are now sold out, so I’m glad I jumped on it when I did. My friend ordered a set for each of us; we got Box B, which was the only available version (out of of three options) at the time.
I am super delayed with writing this post! Awhile back, indie brand Atomic Makeup reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in trying some of their products. Of course I was thrilled to have the opportunity! It’s always fun to discover new brands, and Atomic sounds exciting to me: not only are their products 100% vegan and cruelty-free, they’re formulated and made in my longtime former home, New York City.
1. David’s Tea Halloween Collection: I saw an ad for this collection on social media and placed an order almost immediately. I got the Halloween Tarot Color Changing Mug (which appears not to be available anymore), Deep Purple Tea, and Forbidden Root Tea. These teas sound delicious and the mug is so super cute! I can’t wait to try everything.
1. October Bullet Journal Spread: I’m pretty happy with this month’s spread. My little drawings at the top turned out better than other months…except the pumpkin at the top kind of just looks like a striped orange butt, hah!
I can’t believe this is my fifth year doing 31 Days of Horror! I’ve really been looking forward to the tradition this year. This is also the first year we’ve owned our own home—and Halloween is actually the anniversary of our closing date—so I’m having fun decorating for my favorite holiday.
Happy October! I ended up with what feels like a ton of empties in September. Lots more than in August. It’s that thing where you know you’re running low on some products so you end up using them more often so you can move on to the next thing. Just me? 😛 It always feels like such an accomplishment to empty products!
1. Pumpkin Everything: it’s my favorite time of year! When I see anything pumpkin it’s hard not to buy it. Call me basic, I don’t care. Trader Joe’s is my closest grocery store and I shop there several times a week; lately I’m finding new pumpkin goodies every time I go. Here’s my first TJ’s pumpkin haul of the season (with a basic bitch can of rosé thrown in for good measure).
Ulta finally got me with their 21 Days of Beauty sale this year. I’m pretty sure I’ve never bought anything during one of these sales before! I haven’t bought many beauty products lately—my stash is pretty overloaded. But 21 Days of Beauty had a couple items that I simply couldn’t resist, hence my small Ulta haul.
Oh, hello, fall. It’s SO nice to see you again. I know…it’s not technically fall yet, but we’ve had a couple really nice days here in DC so fall feels very close. And it’s such a relief. Summer can go to hell (it sure feels like that’s where it comes from). But that’s not what I’m here to talk about. I’m here to show you all of the goodies I received in my latest FabFitFun box!
