It is wild to me that my 15th San Diego Comic-Con with John is already complete. I’m sad that it’s over, but we had a great time! So of course, I’m here to recap my experience. As with all of my travel posts, this will be a long one.

Each year, I update this post with tips for SDCC newbies, based on my experience as an introvert who never cosplays and generally dislikes being around crowds but still manages to enjoy myself. Now that I’ve finished writing all three recaps of our Iceland vacation, I want to do a show-and-tell about the souvenirs that I bought. We bought some gifts for friends and family as well, but I won’t be posting those here because we haven’t given all of them out yet.

Well…I’ve reached the third and final recap of our Iceland vacation. (See parts one and two.) I’ve been dragging my feet on this one because it’s just been so fun to immerse myself in Iceland memories. At least I’ll have the memories, my photos, and these blog posts to carry with me. What a magical place:

At the end of my last empties post I teased an upcoming vacation, which has now come and gone. So I’m here to recap our amazing vacation in the incredible country of ICELAND! Iceland has been at the top of my “I want to go to there” list for years. And I finally got to go to there! I can’t wait to share all our trip details with you. My trip recap posts will all be quite long, so buckle up.
Happy June! We recently returned from a short trip to Austin to see my oldest niece graduate from high school. Big congrats to her!! We have a vacation coming up very shortly that I’m very excited about and will of course recap here after the fact.

Happy May! Spring has fully arrived here in DC, and it has been so beautiful. We had some travel in early April and had a couple visitors as well, so it was a fairly busy month. I have quite a few empties from April, along with some declutters and single use products (apologies to Mother Earth).
