Late Fall Empties

Happy December! I’ve had a really nice time visiting family in St. Louis, and now we’re moving straight into holiday season. I emptied plenty of products last month, including a handful of sheet masks. I also picked out a few items that needed to be decluttered.

November 2024 Beauty Empties

Here are my November masks and declutters:

Would I Repurchase?
  • Thayer’s Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner [affiliate link]: the label got torn off of this because of tape that Ulta’s packers put over the bottle to secure it for shipping. I love this and have gone through many bottles. I have another one ready to go!
  • Nuxe Rêve de Miel Honey Lip Balm [affiliate link]: This is a cult classic that I bought for the first time at a Parisian pharmacie. I used it all up as a nighttime lip mask, but wouldn’t say I loved it. I think there are other thick lip balms that I would prefer over this one for nighttime.
  • Trader Joe’s Watermelon Overnight Face Mask: this mask was fine. I did like the fresh watermelon scent, but don’t feel like it did anything special for my face. Really affordable, though, so it won’t set you back if you want to try it next time it appears at TJs (it’s seasonal).
  • Lush Toil and Trouble Shower Slime: a super fun body Halloween-themed body wash! This stuff was bright green and came with a little bat-shaped soap inside. It was seasonal and is no longer available, but I would repurchase.
  • Lush Magic Crystals: love this refreshing, minty purple body scrub. I’ve already repurchased.
  • Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch (The Original) [affiliate link]: honestly, these didn’t do very much for my blemishes. I sometimes get a whitehead on my chin around my period so I tried these patches, but they didn’t really help. I wouldn’t purchase this particular pimple patch variety again.
  • Brooklyn Bath Rosewater Cassis Soothing Oatmeal Soap: a nice, mildly scented soap with some exfoliating oatmeal embedded. It’s a good wintertime soap bar for my shower.
  • Supergoop! Glow Screen SPF 40 in Sunrise (mini) [affiliate link]: this stuff packs a hyper-glowy punch. I like it, but the luminosity of this shade is almost too much for everyday for me.
  • Nécessaire The Deodorant Gel [affiliate link]: this brand has gifted me products in the past, but I purchased this on my own. I’ve gone through a couple of these before and would repurchase.
  • Nutrafol Hair Serum mini [affiliate link]: have used up many bottles. I think it helps prevent some fallout so I like having it in my routine.
Masks & Declutters
  • Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 in ST3 Balos [affiliate link]: this skin tint has a really nice finish, but it’s very thick so a little goes a long way. Even when used sparingly it ends up being more coverage than I prefer. So I didn’t use up much before it started to smell a little off. Time to go in the trash. I prefer other, lighter skin tint formulas.
  • Patchology Beauty Sleep Hydrogel Restoring Night Face Mask [gifted; affiliate link]: a nice, soothing sheet mask for nighttime. Would consider purchasing on my own.
  • Dr. Jart+ Pore Remedy Purifying Mud Mask [affiliate link]: this is a fun sheet mask with mud on the side that adheres to your face. This mask came in a Dr. Jart mask set and I liked it enough that I would repurchase.
  • Sephora Collection Lip Gloss in Perfect Nude: loooove this shade. But I had had it for too long and it was time to go in the trash. Unfortunately, this particular Sephora lip gloss seems to have been discontinued.
  • Burt’s Bees Chai Lip Balm: found this in a purse I hadn’t used for quite some time, so I decided I should toss it out. I didn’t love this flavor, but I do love the OG Burt’s Bee’s lip balm.
  • Rare Beauty Find Comfort Hydrating Under Eye Patches [affiliate link]: these feel so cooling! I bought another box during the most recent Sephora savings event.
  • Talika Paris Reusable Eye Therapy Patches [affiliate link]: love these. I still have a few packs and since they are reusable they will last for awhile.
  • Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask [affiliate link]: this is a pricy sheet mask, so I would only buy it at a discount. But I really liked how soothing it felt on my skin, so I may splurge on it again in the future.

End of November empties! I hope you are taking some time for self care in this stressful time leading up to the holidays along with the changeover in our country’s administration.
