ColourPop x Stranger Things
Stranger Things Makeup Collection!

From time to time, I’ll see something on social media that I buy immediately. I did so when I learned about the ColourPop x Pokemon collection, and I did it again as soon as I found out that the brand had launched a Stranger Things collection. I began adding a few items to my cart and then realized it would make more sense to purchase the full collection…so that’s what I did. I absolutely love the packaging, especially the highlighter milk carton and the blush cassette tape:

The Palette

Obviously I was going to buy the Chapter One Shadow Palette ($26) no matter what. This super cute palette includes sixteen eyeshadows in a variety of finishes from matte to metallic to pearlescent glitter.

Take a closer look….HOW ADORABLE!! I’ve swatched all of the other items but I don’t really want to touch this palette. I think I might keep it as a collector’s item.

Glittery Lips

The Ultra Glossy Lip Kit ($28) contains three glittery glosses in sheer, tinted shades. These glosses smell like berries and look really nice either on their own or over lipstick.

The Liquid Shadows

Next is the Chrome Liquid Shadow Kit ($20) dubbed “The Monster.” The kit includes two shades: Humanoid and Interdimensional. These are apparently CP’s first-ever chrome liquid eyeshadows! As you’ll see in my swatch photo below, these are quite pigmented. The shades are so beautiful! I’m actually excited to try these as eyeliner, because I think they would have a really cool effect on the lash line.

The Liquid Highlighter

The Hawkins Milk Liquid Highlighter ($12) is a beautiful, silvery shade with blue duochrome. I think this will be a great highlighter to use going into the holiday season.

The Color-Changing Blush

This next item is a ph color-changing cream blush ($14) in the shade Byers. I love cream blush, and color-changing makeup is always fun to use. This purplish-black shade in the pan turns into a pretty berry color on my skin (see swatch photo below). The blush is fairly sheer but can be built up, and it has a lovely sheen finish.

The Lip Mask

Last but not least is the Waffle Lip Mask ($12). How freaking cute is this packaging?! The lip mask is syrup-scented and contains a touch of shimmer. I don’t think I’ll touch this item either. I’d like to keep it pristine as a collector’s item.

The Swatches

Okay! I mentioned above that I haven’t swatched the eyeshadow palette or lip mask, but I do want to share swatches of the other items in this collection.

From top to bottom: ph blush, liquid highlighter, liquid eyeshadows (Interdimensional, then Humanoid), and ultra glossy lips (yellow, pink, then blue).

Top to bottom: ph blush, highlighter, liquid eyeshadows, lip glosses

I’ll definitely be using the blush, highlighter, liquid shadows, and lip glosses this spooky season and into the winter. As a Stranger Things fan, I couldn’t not buy this collection! If you buy the pieces individually, the full collection would cost $112, but you can buy the whole shebang for $99.

Did you buy anything from this exciting new makeup collection?
