Midsummer Beauty Empties

Happy August! Now that SDCC has passed, I have spooky season to look forward to. I’ll soon be attending Midsummer Scream for the first time, and I’m excited!

I emptied more beauty products than usual last month…check out this array:

July 2026 beauty empties

Typically, I include affiliate links to purchase products but I’ve had a busy week and didn’t want to take the time to create and insert each link. If you feel so inclined, you can still shop products listed on my ShopMy shelves; if you do, I’ll earn a small commission.

Would I Repurchase?
  • Lume Whole Body Deodorant Invisible Cream, Soft Powder mini: I don’t love this scent, but the formula is good and it helps keep me from getting stinky. I do prefer the tangerine scent (these are the only two scents that I’ve seen in a travel size).
  • Supergoop! Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50: a go-to body sunscreen. I’ve gone through many tubes and would repurchase.
  • Lume Whole Body Deodorant Invisible Cream, Lavender Sage: a much better scent than Soft Powder. Will repurchase soon.
  • Peach Slices Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner [gifted]: it took me forever to use up this bottle. I think may have helped keep hormonal chin breakouts at bay, and it was a nice extra layer of hydration. Since I (fortunately) don’t break out a lot, I probably wouldn’t buy this on my own.
  • Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser [gifted]: love this gentle cleanser; I have purchased this own my own but have also been gifted it many times.
  • Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1: have purchased this many times and will do so again. I like this for eye makeup removal.
  • Biolage Full Rescue Shampoo: this shampoo has a new name and I’m guessing a new formula as well. I still liked it, though, and will repurchase.
  • Up & Up Sensitive Skin Fragrance-Free Body Wash: a basic Target brand body wash that didn’t irritate my skin. Good price point for when I’m looking to save some money.
  • Torriden Dive In 5D Hyaluronic Acid Serum mini: this a nice hydrating serum that I’d consider purchasing in the winter if my skin gets extra dry.
  • Zoya Armor Topcoat: I actually forgot that I had this topcoat and didn’t use it for a long time. So it was past its prime and time to go. I’ve been loving Mooncat nail polish so I don’t think I’d go back to this one.
  • ELF Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm mini: good as a first cleanse for travel; will purchase a mini again for my toiletry bag.
  • Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream mini: a really lovely hydrating cream. Would purchase full sized.
  • ELF Suntouchable Whoa Glow SPF 30: a declutter. I got this in the Survivor 50 “Elfie Advantage” bundle that the show promoted near the end of the milestone season (I ordered it immediately). A couple times when I used this SPF, my eyes started stinging. So I decided not to use it anymore. It did give a really nice luminous glow, though.
  • Frownies Facial Patches: I use these on my forehead pretty consistently at night and I do feel like they help keep my forehead relatively smooth for my age (I’ve never gotten Botox). Consistency is very important with these. I’ve gone through a few boxes and will repurchase.
  • Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask mini: not buying this brand any longer. I wouldn’t repurchase this mask anyway because it had a burning sensation after just a couple minutes. I never saw any damage, so I did manage to empty the jar, but it didn’t feel good while using it.
  • Heretic Parfum Dirty Coconut sample: coconut isn’t my favorite fragrance note, but I did like this scent. I wouldn’t buy it full sized, though.
  • Tatcha The Longevity Memory Cream: the brand is really good, but I didn’t love how sticky the finish of this cream was. Not sure I would repurchase this one.
  • Tatcha The Silk Peony: a lovely eye cream that’s not too light, not too heavy. Would repurchase.
  • Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray mini: also great for travel. I’m already on to my next mini.
Single Use

July 2026 single use empties

  • Bioeffect Imprinting Hydrogel Mask: the last of my masks from our Iceland trip. These are a little pricey but I would repurchase them if when I make it back to Iceland.
  • Biodance Refreshing Sea Kelp Real Deep Mask: I’m really liking this brand’s masks. They feel so hydrating. Would buy this one again.
  • Patchology Firm Believer Deck and Décolleté Treatment: hard to say if this helped firm my neck and décolleté skin after one use, but I liked it and would buy it again.
  • Loops Double Take Glow Mask: brought this to use one morning while at SDCC and it helped refresh my tired skin. I’d buy it again.
  • Grace & Stella Moisturizing Eye Masks x2: these were also refreshing and I’d buy the multipack at Costco if I see it again because it’s a good value.
  • Rare Beauty Find Comfort Hydrating Under Eye Patches: even more refreshing. I love these; will repurchase.
  • Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily Peel: I’ll repurchase at a discount…they’re pricey.

Thanks for reading about what I think might be my largest bunch of empties yet!
