All Gifts Edition
1. Youth to the People Gifts: this Friday Five is 100% comprised of brand gifts I’ve received over the last couple months! We’ll start with this lovely package from one of my favorite skin care brands. YTTP sent me a large bottle of the Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser, Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask, Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream, and the new Superfood Skin Drip. I’ve tried and loved the first three products before and am excited to try Skin Drip!
2. Paula’s Choice Gifts: another very generous (and colorful) package from a great brand! This package included four skin boosters: 10% Azelaic Acid, 10% Niacinamide, Pro-Collagen Peptides, and their new and improved 15% Vitamin C. Their previous Vitamin C booster formula was a little irritating for my skin (though their 25% Vitamin C was fine for me). But I’m excited to try the new version and see how that goes. I have never tried the azelaic acid booster so I’m looking forward to incorporating that into my routine as well. I need to get through some other skin care products before I can add these into the mix!
3. Cocokind Serum Gift: this lovely brand recently came out with a jumbo sized bottle of their popular Ceramide Barrier Serum. So they sent out a package including one regular sized bottle and one jumbo. I’m currently almost finished with the last bottle they sent me; I’ll happily use both of these too!
4. Nécessaire Hair Care Gifts: I was excited to receive this package of a new Rosemary Shampoo and Conditioner duo, as rosemary is meant to help strengthen hair and minimize thinning. Me with my super fine, thin hair over here could really use something like this! This duo smells fantastic. I haven’t used it a ton just yet because I’ve been finishing up a different shampoo, but I’m eager to see how my hair likes these products.
5. The Inkey List Lip Gifts: TIL sent me a package of all four Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balms, including three new tints (Berry, Mocha, and Pink)! They have sent me their OG clear version before and TBH, it wasn’t quite hydrating enough for me. I can’t recall what time of year I tried it. If it was in the winter it just may not have been enough for my dry lips. But I am willing to give these plumping balms another shot—especially the tinted balms. I do love a lip tint!
Thank you SO MUCH to all of the brands for these gifts! It can be hard to keep up with brand gifts…and I don’t receive nearly as many as bigger influencers do. I don’t know how they do it! It’s a good problem to have, though. I truly do appreciate it every time a brand decides to send a gift my way!!
