Late Summer Beauty Empties
Happy October!! It’s my final summer empties post of the year! I didn’t empty a ton of products, but I still had a fair amount, along with a couple of sheet masks (see below):
Would I Repurchase?
- Nécessaire The Hand Retinol [gifted; affiliate link]: a declutter. Unfortunately, this hand treatment started to smell a little off before I could use it up. So I’m tossing it out. It did not irritate my hand skin, though, so that’s good. However, I probably wouldn’t buy it on my own.
- Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser mini [affiliate link]: I love this for travel! And I have a large bottle to use as my nightly second cleanse. Will absolutely purchase in the future.
- Nutrafol Hair Serum [affiliate link]: I think this helps a bit with shedding and have gone through multiple bottles. I’ve already opened a smaller bottle that I bought recently.
- Trader Joe’s Vitamin C Firming Body Butter mini: from last year’s holiday beauty box. Since it’s a mini I didn’t get to use it for long enough to see whether it firms as promised. But I love the Smarties scent, and you can’t beat the price (around $7 full sized). Would definitely consider purchasing a full sized tube.
- Youth to the People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream [gifted; affiliate link]: love! I’ve received this as a gift from YTTP and have purchased it on my own. Would 100% repurchase on my own again.
- Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm [affiliate link]: love this as a nightly first cleanse. I’ve bought this before and would buy again.
- Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser [affiliate link]: I always heard good things about this cleanser and finally bought it during the spring Rouge savings event. I actually didn’t realize that it’s a physical exfoliant. The instructions say that it’s gentle enough for everyday use. So I did use it in the shower nearly every morning, and it fortunately didn’t irritate my skin. My skin was able to handle it but a daily facial scrub is not really recommended. So I probably won’t buy this again…but if I do, I’ll use it less frequently.
Masking
- Trader Joe’s Hydrating Biocellulose Face Mask: I bought three of these when I spotted them in my TJs. This mask feels refreshing and is affordable. Would buy again.
- Boscia Pore Purifying Black Charcoal Strip: RIP to this skin care brand. I still had a few of these nose strips in my vanity after the brand shuttered. They did a pretty decent job of sucking gunk out of my nose pores.
- Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Rose Gold Eye Masks [affiliate link]: love, have gone through many of these and will buy again.
That’s a wrap on my September 2024 beauty empties. Happy Spooky Season!!
