My First Haul from My New Home
Welcome to my first-ever Sephora Rouge haul from Los Angeles! And I gotta say, the afternoon light in the back yard is perfect for photographing my beauty products.
Typically, I curate some ShopMy lists of recommendations prior to the Sephora savings event launch. But we moved on April 1 and have been in major unpacking and organizing mode, so I just didn’t have the time to sit down and do it. I’m sure my dozen readers are very disappointed, lol.
Last fall, I skipped filming a video, so I made sure to create one this time around. You can view it here:
This haul ended up being a couple orders and a couple trips to my local Sephora. In Washington DC I was spoiled, with a Sephora Studio just a five minute walk from our house. But we do have a Sephora store a short drive from our new place in LA. So, fortunately, I still have a convenient store for in-person shopping.

Yeah…I bought a lot of stuff this time around. Let’s take a closer look at some of the items.
The K-Beauty Minis
This is an exciting Sephora Favorites set that actually feels like a good value. One sheet mask plus eight decent-sized minis of products that are mostly new to me? Hell yeah. As I discussed in my video, I’ve only tried three of these products: the mask, the Glow Recipe toner, and the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen (all of which I liked). So I’m very much looking forward to digging into this little bag of Korean skin care goodies! I’m thrilled that I snagged this, because it’s currently out of stock.

The Luxury Hair Care
Kérastase has this new Chronologiste line for “aging hair.” I mean…everything ages, why not hair too. I first bought a mini of the Overnight Youth Serum and thought it made my hair look fluffier than usual after one use. And I really liked the scent! Because this brand is pricey, I went ahead and used my discount to buy the full sized serum and the shampoo as well. I’m now a few days in to using the serum during my PM routine, and I am still liking it. So I’ll continue using it and see how it goes…

The Sunscreens
Now that I live in Los Angeles, sun protection is going to be even more of a priority. Tatcha recently came out with this new SPF 50, and because it’s more expensive than other sunscreens that I tend to buy, I figured the sale was a good a time as any time to buy this one. I swatched it on my hand while in the store and thought it blended in well, so hopefully I’ll end up liking it on my face too.

I also decided to pick up a tube of the YTTP Youthscreen SPF 60. I recently used up a tiny vial of this that I had received as a gift with purchase and I liked it, so I figured why not go for a full tube during the sale. It’s a little pricey for the amount of sunscreen that you get (1.3 oz), but a higher SPF as we head into blazing Southern California weather should be worth it. And this is the highest SPF I’ve seen outside of the drugstore.

The Skin Care
Tatcha always comes out with such great products, so when I saw this new cream I wanted to try it. The texture looks unique, and as I slide closer to 50, I’m all about products that are intended to hydrate and plump.

U Beauty has been on my radar for a bit, and because it’s a higher-end price tag I decided to wait until the sale to get something from them. I’m starting with this Neck + Décolleté serum and will see if I like it enough to try anything else by the brand. I’ve used this a few times so far and I really like the herbal scent.

In my video, I mentioned that I believe this new brand Lixr is from the same founder as the beloved, shuttered Bite Beauty (RIP). When I did a post-filming fact check, I was indeed correct: Susanne Langmuir founded both Bite and Lixr. Her new brand is waterless, silicone-free, preservative-free, and cruelty-free. I don’t believe this lip mask claims to be a dupe of the cult fave Bite Agave Lip Mask (of which I was a fan), but I’m curious to find out how similar this new product is to that bygone holy grail.

The Makeup
While waiting to check out at the store, I spotted the Natasha Denona My Dream Mini palette and decided to get it. I have a mini Maybelline palette in my travel bag but it’s about four years old, so it’s time for something fresh. This palette will fit the bill nicely.

Here are the shades swatched on my arm:

The last YSL lip product I bought didn’t work out for me and I ended up returning it. But I am excited about this new Lovenude Lip Blusher Soft Blurring Lip Color. I got the shade Mauve Haze, which seems to be a popular one.

I think the formula might be similar to Merit Beauty Lip Blush, which I love. Obviously the YSL has a luxury price tag, so the sale is a great time to try it. Here’s the shade swatched on my arm:

That’s a wrap on my spring 2026 Sephora Rouge haul! Have you picked up any new items that you’re super excited about? I think I’m most excited about the Kérastase hair serum, because after a few uses it seems very promising. And the K-beauty bag has so many fun products to try.
Thank you for reading (and for watching my haul video)!
