Late Winter Beauty Empties
Wishing you a happy spring and happy April from our new home! This is not an April Fool’s Day joke (I can’t stand those and would not do that to you). Our movers arrive from DC today to move all of our stuff into our rental home here in the Los Angeles area. So after two months of staying in a long term Airbnb, we will finally, officially live in LA and will actually be able to settle in here.
Shall we move on to my empties, aka the actual point of this post?

In the interest of saving time as I prep for our move, I’m not including links to these products.
Would I Repurchase?
- Osmosis Boost Peptide Activating Mist: I’ve gone through a few of these and would buy again. I love the really fine mist spray.
- Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50: the brand has gifted me this SPF, but I’ve bought it on my own many times and would do so again.
- Tatcha The Matcha Cleanse mini: this is a nice cleanser and I would buy it full sized.
- Lume Whole Body Deodorant, Lavender: I’ve gone through a few of these and I feel like it does a good job of keeping my pits from getting stinky.
- SK-II Genoptics Infinitaura [gifted via Influenster]: a really nice serum that imparts a luminous look. It’s pricey ($169 full price) even with a discount so I probably wouldn’t buy it on my own.
- Paula’s Choice 7% Ectoin Booster [gifted]: I’m typically not a big fan of boosters. I find it overwhelming to try to figure out which ingredient to use when and with which other products. That said, I did like this one; I felt like my skin looked pretty good while I was using it. But I’m not going out of my way to buy boosters. I’d rather use a serum or cream that contains this ingredient instead.
- Youth to the People Youthscreen Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 60 sample: free sample from a Sephora purchase. I only got a couple uses out of this tiny vial, but I liked it and would buy it full sized.
- Fischersund Útilykt mini: from the Light Discovery set that I bought on our Iceland vacation. I adore this fragrance and will buy it full sized.
- Frownies Facial Patches: these actually do a good job of keeping my forehead lines smoothed out a bit. You do have to be consistent with using them in order to see any effect. I’ve already bought more.
Single Use

- Peach & Lily Glass Skin Ginseng Collagen Mask [gifted]: this is a really good mask! After trying one that the brand sent me, I bought a box of them at Ulta. I like to use this for pre-special event skin prep, because it makes my skin look so glowy.
- Grace & Stella Illuminating Eye Masks: from a Costco set. These are nice and I would buy again.
- Bioeffect Imprinting Eye Mask: also from Iceland! These feel hydrating and I would buy them again.
- Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily Peel Pad x 6: I only have one of these left and will buy another box at a discount during the upcoming Sephora savings event.
Maybe you’ll actually see me posting more again once I actually get settled in LA? We shall see….
