First Empties from Our New House!
Happy May! I’ve already blogged about my first Sephora sale haul from our new home, and now it’s time for my first set of empties in our new space. We’re settling in quite well and have unpacked all of the important stuff, though we still have plenty of organizing and some furnishing to do. We’re getting there, though!
I emptied a fair amount of beauty products last month:

Would I Repurchase?
- Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water [affiliate link]: I bought this large bottle at Costco and it lasted me quite awhile. I’ve opened up another Garnier, but will definitely buy the Bioderma again at Costco.
- Trader Joe’s Vitamin C Firming Body Butter: I like the Smarties scent of this lotion, and I also appreciate that it doesn’t irritate my skin. Plus, you can’t really beat TJs prices. Would repurchase.
- Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser [affiliate link]: a lovely mild cleanser that I enjoyed using during my AM shower. It’s very reasonably priced ($13); I would repurchase.
- Beauty of Joseon Day Dew Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 [affiliate link]: this SPF is already one of my faves! I really love the dewy finish. Right now, I’m trying other sunscreens from my latest Sephora haul, but will totally buy this SPF again. And at $18, the price is right.
- Heimish All Clean Balm: a good, mild first cleanse at night. I’m trying out something else for now, but I would happily go back to this one.
- OneSkin OS-01 Face Topical Supplement [gifted; affiliate link]: this is a really nice, basic moisturizer that I used AM and PM. Twice daily use only lasted me about a month. I love that the brand offers refills! The refill for this is $117; pretty pricey, so I’m not sure I would buy it on my own. But I did like the moisturizer and I would purchase at a discount.
- Youth to the People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream [gifted; affiliate link]: a great, light cream that I’ve gone through many jars of. Plus, they now offer refills. Even better! I’m sure I’ll repurchase this at some point (and I’m always happy to use it when YTTP gifts it to me).
- Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist mini [affiliate link]: I like this really fine mist as well. The scent is quintessential Tatcha. Would repurchase.
Single Use

- Bioeffect Imprinting Hydrogel Mask x2 [affiliate link]: I’m running out of these masks that I bought in Iceland. They are available online, and I do like them. I would probably only purchase them on another Iceland trip, though, because they feel that much more special that way.
- Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily Peel [affiliate link]: this was my last peel pad from the first box that I bought. I’ve since bought a new box, during the recent Sephora savings event.
- Patchology Blemish-Shrinking Salicylic Acid Dots [affiliate link]: this brand has gifted me products in the past. TBH I can’t remember if these were gifted or if I bought them on my own, because I do like Patchology and have bought their products before receiving the brand’s gifts. I’m not sure I’d buy this particular dot again (from their Breakout Box), I don’t feel like it does that much for whatever type of blemishes I sometimes get.
- Grace & Stella Moisturizing, Illuminating, and Energizing Eye Masks: from a Costco value pack. I’m enjoying all of these and would buy them again.
Thanks for reading! This was a good set of empties. I have a bit of travel coming up so I’m sure I’ll have some empty travel products to write about next month, at the very least.
