Birthday Month Beauty Empties

Happy July! I can’t believe that our Iceland trip is over. I’m still mentally in vacationland and am fantasizing about a return trip!

I emptied plenty of products during my birthday month and decluttered a few items as well.

June 2025 beauty empties

Would I Repurchase?
  • Grown Alchemist Energize Body Cleanser mini [affiliate link]: from a little gift set from our hotel in Megève. I completely forgot I had this and decided to use it in the shower this month. The cleanser smelled so good! Would consider purchasing.
  • K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask mini [affiliate link]: I’ve already bought another mini. I feel like this makes my hair feel soft and appear the teensiest bit fuller.
  • Cocokind Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum [gifted; affiliate link]: I don’t love how sticky this serum feels, so I wouldn’t buy it on my own. But when the brand gifts it to me I always use it up.
  • Seahill Spa Shampoo mini: from the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. This smells good and has a lovely texture. My hair feels soft when I use it. If we visit the hotel again and I’m in need of a shampoo, I’d consider buying a full sized bottle from the spa store.
  • Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara mini [affiliate link]: I used to like this mascara, but as with most mascaras I use now, it smudged underneath my eyes. I won’t buy it again.
  • Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer [gifted; affiliate link]: a good AM moisturizer for my skin. Aside from hydrating well I didn’t notice any particular benefit from this product, so I wouldn’t buy it on my own. But I was grateful for the opportunity to try it.
  • Lume Whole Body Deodorant Invisible Cream in Lavender Sage [affiliate link]: this brand really helps prevent stink. I don’t know how they do it! I’ve already started using another tube. I only use this on my armpits…I’m not interested in putting deodorant on all the crevices of my body.
  • EOS Sensitive Skin Shave Cream [affiliate link]: a declutter. Pretty sure I’ve used this before, but must have forgotten that I really do not like it. Frankly, this stuff sucks. It’s super thick so it’s hard to spread onto your skin, and it clogs up your razor blade. No thank you.
  • Trader Joe’s Cranberry Orange Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream mini: from a 12 Days of Beauty Box. The scent wasn’t my favorite, but it helped hydrate my hands while in Iceland.
  • Trader Joe’s Orange Ginger Ultra Moisturizing Hand Balm mini: a declutter from a 12 Days of Beauty Box. When I opened this tube I didn’t realize it’s actually a balm. I HATE the feel of a product that lingers on my hands. If it doesn’t absorb rapidly, I have to wash my hands right away to get it off of me. This hand balm is an Absolutely Not for me.
  • Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm [affiliate link]: a basic standby that I sometimes return to. Would totally repurchase.
  • Blue Lagoon Silica Mud Mask mini [affiliate link]: received as a gift when I made a purchase at the Blue Lagoon store in Iceland. I loved how my skin looked the day after using this mask at the Blue Lagoon, so I used this mini up quickly after our trip. I bought both a full sized and a travel sized tube while traveling.
  • Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask [affiliate link]: love. I’ve already opened my second jar. It’s a great PM lip mask.
  • Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm mini [affiliate link]: a good nighttime first cleanse for my travels. I bought something else to try next, but would repurchase a mini of this for travel.

June 2025 single use beauty empties

That’s it for my June empties! I have more travel coming up this month, so expect to see some more mini empties…and probably some masks too.
