Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and more

1. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: I was so excited to finally go see this movie last weekend! We went to the Beetlejuice Afterlife Experience in LA right before the movie opened, but didn’t get a chance to actually see the film until now. TBH, I thought the pacing at the start was a little slow, but once it picked up I really enjoyed the movie. I laughed a bunch and had a great time. The OG film is one of my all-time favorites, and though I wouldn’t add this installment to my list of all-timers, I still enjoyed it and would happily watch it again.

2. Lush Bob Bath Bomb: I stopped in at Lush at the mall earlier this week not even realizing that they had a Beetlejuice collection! I snatched up the one Bob bath bomb remaining on display. How cute is this little shrunken head bath bomb?!

3. Halloween Decorating: spooky season is officially ON in our house! I haven’t gotten to the yard yet, but I’ve brought out most of our indoor decor. Decorating for Halloween just makes me feel so happy.

4. Clue Live: another one of my favorite movies from childhood is Clue. So when I saw that the Kennedy Center was going to host a live stage show based on the movie, I had to get tickets! The show is only on for a few weeks, so I’m happy I was able to get tickets for us. We went on Wednesday night and had a blast. The show was so fun and stuck very closely to the movie until maybe the last quarter of its run time. The performers were SO great and really got a workout running around the stage for 90 minutes straight!

5. Trader Joe’s Apple Shortbread Cookies: you know I love my TJs fall treats! I think these cookie are new this year. I’m not a huge apple fan because I’m mildly allergic to the fruit. But it’s really only when I eat raw apples that I get an itchy mouth. I tried a couple of these cookie and they are very good! They’re pretty thin, very buttery, and not too crumbly. Would recommend.
