This week’s Throwback Thursday is another photo from a family visit to my grandparents in West Virginia when I was a toddler (and an only child, for the moment).
That’s my grandma, my mom, and my grandpa, with little ol’ me and my trusty Herry Monster stuffed animal in the center. I’m loving my mom’s red belted shirtdress! My grandparents look so dapper. I wonder what everyone was all dressed up for? Seeing as how this photo was taken in August of 1980 and my grandmother’s birthday was in August, I’m guessing we were there to visit for her birthday and must have been going out for a nice dinner celebration. Ahh, those were the days. 🙂
