A Big Spring Haul

Now that the Sephora Spring 2025 Savings Event is done and dusted, I’m sharing my full haul. I filmed a video show-and-tell, which you can watch here:

Of course, I’m also blogging about the goodies that I bought…which I’m very excited about! Here’s everything I bought with my 20% Rouge discount:

The Full List

New-to-Me Skin Care

In my video, I went over each purchase; I’m not going to rehash all of it in writing because this post would take days to read.

But, I will go into a little detail about some of the products I bought that are new to me. These Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads certainly aren’t new, but I’ve heard enough good things that I decided it was high time I try them. Because they are pricey, the sale is the best time to give them a go. This Sephora exclusive box contains five bonus treatments. So, at full price, each treatment costs $2.63. That’s a lot for a skin care product meant for daily use. As I said in my video, I probably won’t use these daily. But we will see how I end up liking them.

While browsing my small local Sephora Studio, I decided to keep my eyes peeled for interesting wash-off masks. This Peter Thomas Roth trio jumped out at me and hopped right into my basket. Funny how that happens.  😛  The set contains three 1.7 ounce masks: Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer, 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm, and Water Drench® Hyaluronic Cloud Mask Hydrating Gel. Masking on weekend mornings is a favorite pasttime of mine, and I can’t wait to try them all!

Tower 28 has become one of my favorite brands. Their products are formulated for people with sensitive skin, and while my skin isn’t particularly sensitive I think their products are high quality at a reasonable price point. The brand recently released a facial cleanser, so I picked one up for my morning shower.

Fun with Lips

Most of the makeup I bought during this sale was for my lips. And the lip shades I bought are generally in the pinky nude realm, so I guess you can tell where my lip mood is at the moment.

Tower 28 again! This is the second limited edition lip kit that I’ve bought from the brand. The last one I bought is a really good liner and gloss duo (which I’m wearing in my haul video above). So I wanted to pick up this new kit as well. The pinky nude liner is called Paint my Number, and the sheer baby pink gloss is called Lucky. Keep reading to see lip swatches…

Another lip product that was an instant purchase when I learned about it is the new Iris & Romeo lip SPF. The brand is somewhat new to Sephora, but I tried it before they showed up at the retailer (what an Iris & Romeo hipster, amirite?!). I&R makes a Power Peptide Lip Balm in a shade called Nude that I bought and LOVED, but that product isn’t available at Sephora. However, during the sale I was served an Instagram ad for this new lip SPF from the brand and decided to buy it as soon as I saw that Sephora carried it.

The lip balm comes in three shades; I selected Dawn, which looks very similar to the Nude lip balm shade that I really loved. Extra bonus points for having SPF 30! The tube is made of glass and feels luxurious. I have yet to try this lip balm, but my fingers are crossed that it doesn’t have a yucky SPF taste like many of the lip SPFs out there.

Merit recently came out with a line of nude lip liners and I really wanted to swatch them in person. So I tested them out on my hand and fell in love with the texture. The store I went to was sold out of a lot of these liners, but I did manage to buy Coupé there and then ordered Mayfair online. These are so creamy that they’re almost like lipstick in a liner form! I kinda wish I had also bought Bespoke, but it can wait.

I also swatched Merit’s new Shade Slick Sheens, which are four shimmery shades. People seem to love the OG Merit lip oils, but I never bought one because the shades are a little warm for my taste. The new shimmer shade Twin Set, however, is a really pretty mauve, so that went into my basket as well.

Lip Swatches

As promised, below are swatches of the various pinky nude lip products that I purchased with my discount. The first photo is in direct sunlight and the second is in natural light.

From top to bottom: Merit Signature Liners in Coupé and Mayfair; Merit Shade Slick Sheen in Twin Set; Tower 28 lip liner in Paint My Number; T28 gloss in Lucky; Iris & Romeo Lip Balm in Dawn.

The hunt for a perfect pinky nude lip never ends, but these shades are really lovely! And I actually think they’ll all work well together, which wasn’t even my intention when buying them, with the exception of Coupé and Twin Set. Seems like a good liner and gloss pairing.

You’ve reached the conclusion of my Sephora spring 2025 haul! Did you shop ’til you dropped during this sale, or are you a financially responsible person who doesn’t buy 18 pinky nude lip products at a time?  😛

Thanks for reading (and for watching my haul video if you managed to do so). Until next time…
