Midsummer 2025 Empties
I recently returned from San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and I’ll be recapping that adventure here soon. In the meantime, let’s look at the beauty products that I emptied last month!

Would I Repurchase?
- Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40 in Pink Pearl [affiliate link]: this SPF is VERY glowy. Like, when you use the recommended amount for proper coverage, the glow is a little much for every day. I probably wouldn’t buy it again for that reason, but I’m glad I tried it.
- Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster [gifted; affiliate link]: I’m not a big fan of boosters; I’d prefer using a product that already contains the ingredient. So for that reason, I wouldn’t buy this on my own.
- Tower 28 SOS Daily Facial Rescue Spray Mini [affiliate link]: great for travel and has a pretty good spray. I’ve moved on to another mini of this for travel.
- Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mini [affiliate link]: I love this for sunscreen and makeup removal and will continue to purchase it.
- YTTP Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser Mini [affiliate link]: I do love this cleanser; the brand has gifted it to me but I’ve also purchased it on my own and would do so again.
- Iris & Romeo The Reset Luminous Hyaluronic Serum Spray [affiliate link]: I didn’t love the spray mechanism on this. It was really hard to get good coverage on my face. The product itself also stung my eyes when it ran into them. So, I would not repurchase.
- Youth to the People Papaya + Vitamin C Ginger Root Lactic Acid Exfoliate + Brighten Superfruit Cleanser [gifted; affiliate link]: this cleanser was just okay. Cleansers only sit on your skin briefly before you wash them off so I don’t know how effective the active ingredients truly are. I was happy to receive this product to try for free, but I probably wouldn’t buy it on my own.
- Bioeffect EGF Serum sample: a gift with purchase at the brand’s store in Reykjavik. I didn’t love the texture of this; it was a little oily for me. I’m glad I got to try it but wouldn’t buy this full sized.
- Blue Lagoon Silica Mud Mask (1.06oz) [affiliate link]: LOVE. We enjoyed trying this mask while soaking in the Blue Lagoon, and I’m happy that I bought a full sized tube along with our tickets. They recently released a limited edition set that comes with with a lava porcelain bowl, so I treated myself to that.
Single Use + Declutters

- Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask [affiliate link]: this watermelon candy-scented mask feels really hydrating and is good for summer. Would repurchase.
- Talika Paris Bio Enzymes Anti-Aging Neckline Mask: I don’t give my décolletage enough skin care love. Would buy this again.
- Dr. Jart+ Cryo Rubber Moisture Mask [affiliate link]: these are so creepy and fun. Would repurchase.
- Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer [affiliate link]: I like this but it’s been in my vanity for WAY too long. Bronzer isn’t something I use super often but the lightest shade works pretty well on me. I appreciate how easy this powder is to use (as opposed to cream bronzer, which I personally find tricky to apply). I’d repurchase this.
- Trader Joe’s Strawberry Guava Moisturizing Lip Balm: I like the formula but the scent of this one was a little off-putting to me. No idea why, but I think somehow the guava element came off to me as very musty. So I decided to stop using this one.
- Rare Beauty Find Comfort Hydrating Under Eye Patches [affiliate link]: these feel so cooling and I would buy them again.
- Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner Pads [gifted; affiliate link]: I used a couple of these while in San Diego for Comic-Con, and I felt like they made my skin feel smooth. Great for travel but I would probably buy a mini of the liquid over these to help reduce waste.
- Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily Peel x4 [affiliate link]: still working my way through the box I bought during the spring Sephora savings event. I’m liking them so far and would probably repurchase.
Thanks for reading! I’ll be back soon with my SDCC 2025 recap. 🙂
