A Variety of Summer Empties

Happy September! You know how excited I get when summer starts to fade into my favorite season. It’s the best feeling when the weather finally starts to cool down and Halloween stuff pops up in stores. It makes the PSL-loving basic bitch in me so happy.

August 2025 beauty empties

Would I Repurchase?
  • Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 [affiliate link]: I’ve gone through so many bottles of this and would buy it again.
  • Dieux Baptism Gentle Foaming Facial Gel Cleanser [affiliate link]: a really nice cleanser that I used to wash my face in the morning. Would repurchase.
  • Peach & Lily Ginger Melt Oil Cleanser [gifted; affiliate link]: this was a lovely first cleanse in my evening routine. I do prefer a cleansing balm over an oil. So solely for that reason, I probably wouldn’t purchase this on my own.
  • Paula’s Choice Triple Active Total Repair Serum [gifted; affiliate link]: this serum didn’t cause my skin any irritation, which is great, but I also didn’t really notice any benefit while using it. So for that reason I wouldn’t purchase on my own.
  • Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 Face Sunscreen [affiliate link]: another product that I’ve repurchased many times. I’m on my next bottle right now.
  • Nutrafol Hair Serum [affiliate link]: I like using this to help prevent shedding; I think it helps a little. Will be opening my next bottle soon.
  • Trader Joe’s Island Coconut Moisturizing Lip Balm: from the lip balm set that TJs released last holiday season. Coconut isn’t my favorite scent, but I liked this enough to empty it. The lip balm formula is quite moisturizing.
  • Grown Alchemist Shampoo mini [affiliate link]: came in a gift bag from Hotel Coeur de Megève on our France vacation. I forgot that I had this! I recently rediscovered it and it smelled really nice. There wasn’t enough in the small bottle to get a sense of how well my hair liked it, though.
  • Lume Whole Body Deodorant Invisible Cream in Soft Powder mini:  not my favorite scent, but I do really like Lume deodorant. It does such a good job of keeping my pits from stinking. I have repurchased already.
  • Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding: RIP Boscia. I really liked this mask and wish the brand was still around.
Single Use

August 2025 single use empties

  • Bioeffect Imprinting Hydrogel Mask [affiliate link]: I’ve only used one of these from a set I bought on our Iceland vacation, but I liked it and will happily use the rest.
  • Trader Joe’s Hydrating Biocellulose Face Mask: TJs sells good, affordable skin care and their sheet masks are no exception. I’d buy these again, and I’m hoping they have a pumpkin version this fall (pretty sure they’ve made those before).
  • Bioeffect Imprinting Eye Mask [affiliate link]: same thoughts re: the brand’s face mask.
  • Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Daily Peel Pads x4 [affiliate link]: I’m liking these! They’re supposed to be gentle enough for daily use but that seems a bit like overkill. Plus, they’re expensive. So I use them a few times a month to give me a little extra glow. Would buy again but only at a discount.

Thanks for reading! And happy Almost Fall!
