Scream
My 11th Annual Horrorfest

It is wild to me that I’ve already completed ten whole years of 31 Days of Horror! I have a fairly busy October ahead but I’m still committed to 31 Days of Horror, which begins tomorrow.

I’ve already come up with quite a long list of horror options for 2025. Having a list of films I’m interested in watching helps keep me from scrolling through my streaming services for 45 minutes before settling on a movie. I don’t come up with a watch schedule, because I like to remain flexible; sometimes I need to select a shorter film in the interest of time. So, listing out films and where they’re available to stream really helps streamline my daily selection process.

A few movies that I want to make sure to watch this year are: Oddity, Clown in a Cornfield, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Together. And the image that I chose to use at the top of this post makes me want to dive back in to the Scream franchise. Scream was the first horror movie I ever saw in the theater (my freshman year of college). I loved it, and the film holds a special nostalgic place in my heart.

Here are my previous years’ watch lists:

Of course after the month is over I’ll share my full watch list here on my blog. Happy Horror Month!
