Keep Your Chin Up
Another brand sent me a gift! I don’t know if I’ll ever cease to be surprised and honored to receive a PR package. Dr. Brandt Skincare sent me the needles no more® Neck Sculpting Cream with Gua Sha technique, and the package is absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Dr. Brandt!!
I received this package the week before we moved and posted about it on Instagram then. Being so busy with the move, though, I haven’t had much time to sit down and write a blog post about it until now.
I am super excited about this gift! I’m 40 years old and I can definitely see signs of aging on my neck. I have dark spots and those horizontal lines that reveal age, and I’m starting to see some crepey skin under my chin when I turn my head. Over the past few years I’ve also noticed my jawline starting to droop…aka turn into jowls. COOL (NOPE). Yet I’ve never tried a dedicated neck care product; I’ve just been applying face cream and SPF to my neck. Needless to say, I’m the perfect target for this product.
Here’s another look at this gorgeous package:
What It Does
The cream, when used in conjunction with the lovely rose quartz Gua Sha, is “a non-surgical solution to fix that pesky tech neck & double chin.” I’ve seen Gua Sha tools on Instagram but hadn’t bought or received one until now. The Gua Sha technique comes from Chinese medicine and helps massage the cream into the skin for extra toning and definition. Gua Sha tools are said to have many benefits, including increased blood flow, muscle relaxation, and stimulation of healing.
The cream has a lovely gel-cream texture and smells wonderful! Due to our move I didn’t begin using the cream and Gua Sha tool until today, so I can’t share a review just yet. But I will check back in here with a review once I’ve had more time to use these products regularly. I have heard from a friend that Allure named this product one of the best neck creams for 2019, so that’s great to hear!
What’s in It
Key ingredients in the Neck Sculpting Cream are:
- Slim-Sculpt Complex: Fights the effects of excess fullness and volume and gives a sculpted look to your neck.
- Pea Extract: Helps improve the appearance of elasticity, moisturizes, and reinforces the skin
- Hydra-Firm Complex: Provides moisture, hydration, and helps prevent moisture loss.
The cream is also free of sulfates, parabens, and gluten. This cream and Gua Sha set retails for $95 at Sephora.
I want to say thank you again to Dr. Brandt for the opportunity to try this product! Stay tuned for a review to come…
